Hey Friends! This weekend our house was nice and clean and I decided on a whim to share an updated home tour! The last one I did was way back when we first moved into this house! This video is by no means professional, but sometimes it’s nice to see how a house flows via a video versus trying to piece it together in photos. So here I present to you, our modern ranch summer home tour:
Thanks a ton for taking the time to check it out! Since moving in we have accomplished SO much. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have, but hopefully I’ve blogged about most of them! Here are the links to ALL the posts related to this house so far!

If you want to see just how far this home has come with another video, here is the video from the day that we bought the house just over six months ago!
Since moving in, the exterior looks exactly the same as we’ve been focusing all of our efforts on the interior. It’s not charming or super cool, but it’s a solid home that isn’t an eyesore either!
Thanks a ton for taking the time to watch our modern ranch summer home tour! One of my goals for this year is to improve my video skills! I’m hoping to be able to bring you better quality videos that are easier to watch! I hope this post inspired you to create a home that you love, no matter what your budget is. Some of our projects (like the bathrooms) were fairly expensive, while others (like the kitchen) were done on a budget! The rest of the home is mainly just updates with paint and decor!
Simply beautiful!!!
I’m not seeing any video in this post. There is a link to the “when you first moved in” video but none for now… unless I’m missing something.
Oh no! The video is there but someone else had the same problem! She said it wouldn’t load in firefox, but worked on Chrome. I’ll try and dig into why that is happening?!
Hi Jess! I also do not see a link for the new video and am using Chrome. We are selling our Seattle home and looking for the next one – not for the faint of heart in this crazy market. Love, love, love your style and postings and am finding so much inspiration for how to transform our next space, wherever that will be. Thank you for sharing your talents and sweet energy!
Hmm… thank you so much for telling me. I’ve still got to figure out whats going on with it. That’s so frustrating! I’ve heard how nuts the Seattle market is! Thank you so much for your kind comments! Also for the FYI. Good luck on your house hunt!
