Spraypaint a Thrifted Nativity

Spraypaint a Thrifted Nativity

Spray Painted Nativity
I LOVE Nativities. I love that it is a symbol of the true meaning of Christmas. I have slowly been collecting the Willow Tree Nativity, but when I saw this nativity for $6 at my favorite thrift store I knew right away that I would spray paint a thrifted nativity.
I took it out to my garage spray painting station… quite a few things have been painted here.
I hit it with about 4 coats of a high gloss red and let it dry for a few days.
Then I came across this great manger at the same thrift store! I love that it doesn’t have any of that messy flaky moss attached to it, and that it’s different than the manger that every nativity comes with.

I’ve got it on display in my freshly painted built ins and I love that it is a bit more modern than the dated pastel figures I bought from the thrift store. Head here for my Christmas home tour. For a review of my favorite spray paints head to this post.
