We are SO CLOSE to finishing our Master Bathroom. A while back I shared our mood board, and if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen the sneak peek I shared recently. I feel like between this bathroom and my good friend’s bathroom that I designed I have become very familiar with brass hardware and brass fixtures. Today I’m sharing all of my favorite finds for brass hardware in the bathroom.
Brass Cabinet Pulls
When it coms to brass cabinet pulls, I think that it’s important to go stick with a modern shape. Here’s some of my favorite ones. To see the brand and price just hover over the image, or to see all the details click on the image.
Brass Bathroom Faucets
Brass faucets are the one thing that is significantly more expensive than getting the same product in other colors. If you’re wanting the brass look without the price, I think that you could pair brass with a black or oil rubbed bronze faucet. If you’re wanting brass everywhere, here are my favorites.
Brass Bathroom Light Fixtures
In my friends bathroom we went with a vanity light. In our master bathroom we’re going with sconces. I feel like brass lighting options are fairly limited. Thankfully the ones that are on the market are really good.
Brass Toilet Paper Holders
After choosing all brass fixtures, I totally forget about this necessity, so I decided to include it in this roundup.
Over the course of designing a few bathrooms with brass fixtures, I’ve learned that the shades can range from very yellow to being very copper. The only way to know if fixtures match is to see them in person and match them up. I ordered everything for this bathroom online and decided to take a chance! Miraculously, everything matched really well! The shower drain isn’t quite the same hue, but it is far enough away from all other brass fixtures that I don’t think it will be noticeable. Here are the products I ended up choosing for our bathroom:
One final thing I wanted to mention is that there are TONS of different names for the modern brass we know and love. The one thing to stay away from is “polished brass”, that is the brass of the late 80’s. If you’re searching online for modern brass, here are some names I found great fixtures under:
- Brushed Gold
- Champagne Bronze
- Goldenwarm
- Satin Brass
- Satin Gold
- Soft Brass
I hope that this post was helpful in sourcing brass fixtures for your bathroom! Even if you’re not completely remodeling a bathroom, I think it would be fun to just replace hardware and the wall mounted fixtures with brass ones. Thanks a ton for stopping by!
Just what I was looking for! These links were SO helpful!
Oh good! Glad I could help! I’m so excited to see what you end up doing!
Hi there. I am in the middle of construction of a new home. We are mixing black and brushed brass in our master bathroom and a powder room. I love the look of your bath with the combination of black and brass. I can’t get the links on your post to work. I’m not sure if it is a setting on my end or not. I need the towel ring and toilet paper holder!!!!
Oh no! Thank you for letting me know! Here is the affiliate link for the towel ring: http://rstyle.me/n/cwhff8cb4ex. Here is the toilet paper holder I chose: http://rstyle.me/n/cwimyicb4ex. If you’re on a mobile device you might need to click on the images twice to get them to open. I’ll trouble shoot and see if I can figure out why they’re not working.
