Bright Green Door

Come on in and be inspired!

Our Fall Dining Room

October 2, 2018 By BrightGreenDoor

Happy October Everyone! I don’t know about you, but I am TOTALLY ready for Fall. Bring on the cooler weather, warm drinks, football, comfort foods, and family gatherings! Just yesterday we pulled out our Fall decor bin and while I decorated the dining room, the kids had so much fun decorating the rest of the house! I promised them I wouldn’t touch their decor for a few days… so in the mean time I’m going to share the dining room with you all! I’m sharing this post along with five other amazing ladies so make sure you check out their posts too!

Fall Dining Room with Green and White Pumpkins

For those of you who have been around, you might notice that along with my Fall Dining Table I also switched up the wallpaper in here! When I completed our dining room for the One Room Challenge I rushed into a wallpaper decision and ended up regretting it. Now I put up this black and white tree print from Dwell Studio and I’m in love.

Faux Pumpkin Floral Arrangement

This year I decided to go with non-conventional Fall colors of green and white. For the last few years I’ve been snagging small green pumpkins from the Target dollar spot, and I had a few white pumpkins already too. This year I added three faux “carvable” white pumpkins and chose to fill them with green and white florals. The best thing about these is that I’ll be able to keep using them year after year.

I also mixed in a few green marble candlesticks that I’ve had for years with white candles. I also used some buffalo check wrapping paper as a runner.Fall Dining Room with Green and White

To get the look of the faux greenery “falling” out of the pumpkins, I purchased a garland and cut it into smaller pieces. The garland draped a lot nicer than other floral picks.

Thanksgiving will be our first holiday that we’re hosting in this house! I’m so excited to be able to cook and serve a meal and have family gathered all around our big dining table!Modern Fall Dining Room

I’m really loving how even though I didn’t use any orange or leaves, that it still feels like Fall in here! If you’re looking for more Fall inspiration make sure you check out these other bloggers on the Fall blog hop!
