Welcome to Bright Green Door!
Welcome! I’ve been blogging for years over here, but decided to move my blog to a site that isn’t just about “The McGurn Family”, but also a place to share house stuff, DIY stuff, frugal tips, and more!
When it came to picking a blog name it came easy due to everyone commenting on my shockingly bright green front door! Hence the blog, “Bright Green Door”.
Hopefully you will join me on our journey of life, “Behind the Bright Green Door”!
**Update FIVE YEARS LATER** Can you even believe that Green Door is what started it all? The namesake behind this blog? Shortly after painting that door green I actually painted it red to help sell that home! Then we moved on from that “BrightGreenDoor” house to the “Auction Adventure House”. After that we moved to the “Retro Ranch” and then the “Marquette House”. I never would have thought that when I started a blog from behind that little green door that it would involve into a DIY blog and even a career! Thank you so much for reading, following, and supporting this little business of mine! This little blog has come a LONG ways in five years and I hope in five more years I can look back and celebrate again!
I love the new blog and the design! I’ll be following 🙂
