Today I’m going to interrupt your typical “DIY, Design, and Delicious Recipes” for a little taste of summer in the UP. In case you’re not familiar with it, we live in the UP, the “Upper Peninsula” of Michigan. Although it’s remote, we live in a town that’s situated right on the shore of Lake Superior. Last night I was driving out of town and I couldn’t help but pull over to capture a few shots of the sky. Remarkably these were all shot on an iPhone without any filters or editing!
The boys and I all agreed that it was one of the most gorgeous skies we had ever seen. It looked like God had taken a paintbrush across the clouds. I hope you enjoyed this little taste of an Upper Peninsula Summer Sunset. To see more shots of life in the UP I’d love if you followed me on Facebook or Instagram!
Psalm 19:1- The heavens declare the glory of God, The skies proclaim the work of HIS hands.
