Five on Friday
#1- Weather- I know many parts of the country have had obnoxiously snowy and cold springs, but here in North Dakota we’ve hit record highs and we are absolutely LOVING it. Long walks, picnics, and lots of fresh air and we couldn’t be happier.
#2- Flowers- On Wednesday I got a call from my favorite flower shop saying I’d won their drawing for a free arrangement of flowers! They are just gorgeous and make me happy every time I look at them.
#3- Viral Post- On Wednesday I also had my first ever “viral post”! What that means is that this post made it on the Pinterest front page and my daily page views jumped by more than 10X a typical day! This means ad revenue jumped, Pinterest followers jumped, and it was just exciting to have something I wrote go viral!
#4- School- I’m over it and there’s still 3 months left. Getting up has becoming increasingly difficult. Bags and folders are only getting checked about 50% of the time. Show and Tell is rarely remembered. I’m identifying with this article more than ever.
#5- Garage- As part of my #40Bagsin40Days we cleaned the garage. This is monumental… for the first time since buying the auction house, I can park my van inside! It’s amazing! Of course it’s finally warm enough that I don’t need to, but that’s beside the point. Sometimes I just open the door and stare at how clean it is.
So how about you? Are you already over the school year? Loving this grilling and playground weather? Thanks for stopping by to read my random five on friday!
