Five on Friday- Tv in the Bedroom and Clutter!
I decided to follow in my little sisters footsteps today and write a “5 things on Friday” post.
#1. It’s hard not to be a little depressed when Mase has been sick ALL week and now they are predicting a windchill this weekend of -60! I’m going Cabin Fever Crazy and am going to need to figure out something good to get out of this funk. Maybe I’ll go paint something, or sew something, or organize something. hmmm……
#2. I posted my resolutions yesterday… I already have failed on “get exercise EVERY day”, it might have something to do with #1. So far so good on the rest. My boys teeth are cleaner than ever!
#3. For Matt’s Birthday his mom and stepdad bought us a new tv, so we moved our small one into our bedroom and I LOVE having a bedroom tv! Seriously. It makes folding laundry not so miserable. It means I can snooze for 30 more minutes every morning while the boys watch Curious George. It means that we can watch Jimmy Fallon in bed every night, rather than watching him then shutting down the house and being wide awake again by the time we get to bed. I know there are “tv in the bedroom” haters, but I am definitely not one of them!
#4. I think I’ve become slightly deer/antler obsessed. At an auction this fall I got a huge box of antlers for $15 that I scattered around the house. Then for Christmas my parents got me my big white deer head. Then yesterday at a floral shop all of their Christmas was 75% off and I got two more. Antler Issues?? Maybe.
#5. This house is WAY bigger than our last house, yet every space is STUFFED. I feel like that STUFF is beginning to rule me and it’s time to clear out. Stay tuned for MANY things that will be going up for sale soon! I can’t believe I’m sharing these pics but here is the current state of our furnace/laundry room and future daughters room. Purging time?? Yes Please.
Yes, that is an adorable little Hanna Andersson sweater dress hanging there that I got at a garage sale for a quarter that I am saving for our future daughter. We have no clue how old she will be, but I just couldn’t pass up on the cuteness!
