It’s been a while since I’ve published a good “Five on Friday“, let’s talk about five things that have been on my mind lately:
1. Homeschool– We’re a solid three weeks into homeschooling and I’d say it’s going pretty good. We’ve got days that are a HUGE challenge, and other days that make me so thankful that we’re doing it. The other day Mason and I were snuggling on the couch reading together and he turned to me and said, “Mom, this is SO much better than school”.
2. Adoption Update– Or maybe I should say “lack of an update”? Since receiving our decree we haven’t heard any news of progress, although we did get pictures of our daughter’s first day of school! Doesn’t she look SO excited to be going to school? I was really sad to have missed this milestone, but at least I was able to get pictures to document it.
We were so excited to be able to send her a new backpack, lunch bag, water bottle and and school shoes!
3. Kavu Rope bags– I shared the one I’ve got as part of my buffalo check post, but I have to share how much I LOVE this bag. It’s the perfect casual purse, and there are SO many good patterns. Here are just a few that I’ve been loving. **This Post Contains Affiliate Links**

4. Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Press is my new all time favorite drink. It feels like such a treat and a Venti is only 200 calories! Because it’s Cold Pressed it’s not bitter, and I’m basically obsessed with this drink.
5. This is Us– Did you watch the premier this week?! I did and I’m already certain this is going to be new favorite show. You can watch it here to catch up. After flying through all six seasons of White Collar I’m afraid that waiting a week for each episode is going to be painful though!

Isn’t White Collar awesome? I’ve watched it through at least 2 if not 3 times. Have you ever watched Parenthood? I haven’t gotten to watch This is Us yet but I feel like they’re along the same lines from the previews.
We LOVED White Collar. We were so sad when it ended. We’ve never re-watched a show, but that is one I could see doing it with! I LOVED Parenthood, and I’m already love This is Us. The first episode was wonderful. Watching it in real time is going to be so hard though!
