Celebrating Jesus with a Birthday Cake.
Merry Christmas! If you remember from last year, we went from being Anti-Santa, to deciding that we’re a pro-Santa household. Although Santa visited last night, we wanted to make sure that the boys REALLY understood why we’re celebrating and understand that Christmas isn’t about Santa or the presents, but about our Saviors birth.
Before church on Christmas Eve we invited some friends over to sing, “Happy Birthday to Jesus” and eat birthday cake. I always make my Grandma’s famous Chocolate Fudge Birthday Cake.
Aren’t these two just the cutest? It’s getting harder and harder to get a decent picture of them together. Mase is a little ham, but Jack is a skeptical little grouch when it comes to pictures.
I even got to hop in one Christmas picture.
Matt’s mom and stepdad are visiting for Christmas, and the boys are loving getting spoiled by them!
