This year we’re trying hard to have a little less sugarier Easter. This doesn’t mean a few Cadbury mini eggs haven’t snuck their way into my shopping cart, or that Grandma D didn’t send baskets of our favorite treats. I guess that’s even MORE reason that the boys don’t need loads of candy from the Easter Bunny. Because the candy-less baskets will be a bit of a shock on Easter morning, I wanted to make sure the baskets were filled with lots of things they’d love. Here’s what will be in their baskets this year:
5. Clink Book
6. New Crocs
7. Chugger toys
8. New Hoodies.
Obviously these are specialized specifically for my 4 and 5 year old boys who are Robot, Chugger, and Superhero obsessed, but this is something that you could do for any kid. A few of the things that I considered that didn’t make it into my shopping cart were:
I’m hoping that the candy-less baskets are a hit! Of course I can’t guarantee I won’t at least sneak a little chocolate bunny in there too though!
