As avid DIY’ers friends often ask us about our favorite products. It’s taken a while, but we’ve honed in on many products that we really love. Many of these gifts would be great for a new homeowner, a DIY’er, or a family member whose supplies could use an update. I hope this list helps make your gift giving a bit easier! **This post contains affiliate links, this means at no additional cost to you, if you make a purchase from these links, BrightGreenDoor receives a small commission. Worktunes Ear Protection with Bluetooth Headphones– Whenever I’m working I’m always switching between headphones and ear plugs, this would solve that problem and you’d be able to listen to your music the entire time!
Work Gloves– This is something a DIY’er can never have enough of.
Sawhorses– We had a set of plastic sawhorses that have been damaged so many times. I’d love to get a more durable set like this.
Drill and Drive Set– I swear we’re always hunting for the right drill bit, or right driver head. This would ease our struggles. Even for someone who has everything a fresh set would probably be a welcome gift.
Handy Pail and Liners– The reason I discovered the Handy Tray is because I LOVE my handy pail! It’s got a handle, a magnet for the brush, and the liner makes clean-up so easy. I sound like an infomercial… it’s only because I love it so much!
Sand and Kleen Drywall System– I seriously can’t tell you how much I love this thing! It makes sanding drywall so much cleaner and more enjoyable.
Kreg Jig– This is a pocket hole system used for building furniture. It’s a pretty cool way of hiding screws and building.
Little Giant Ladder– We received this ladder as a gift a few years ago, and it is the only ladder we ever use. It’s super handy and can be set up a million different ways. Not only DIY’ers, but just about anyone would love this.
Bluetooth Speaker– Every DIY’er needs some good music, podcasts, or audiobooks to listen to while they work.
Tool Bag– We keep our tools in a large tool box, but this smaller bag is awesome for tossing tools into for specific projects. I also love using it whenever we head to help out friends with projects without lugging our entire large toolbox.
Miter Saw– We got this saw three years ago and it has been used for hundreds of projects since. We love that it turns both directions, has a large blade, and we love the laser. It’s totally worth splurging on this one compared to the next step down.
Tape Measure– We’ve bought lots of cheap tape measures and we won’t make that mistake again. This one is by far our favorite and we always need a few extra because they’re easy to misplace.
Portable Work Light– This hangs, is magnetic, and is super portable and bright.
Bosch Drill– This drill replaced our bulky old one, and it is great. It’s lightweight, holds a long charge, and is easy to handle.
Cordless Brad Nailer– I don’t have a cordless nailer but it would make SO many jobs more convenient! I would love not to lug around our huge air compressor for every little nailer job.
Miter Saw Stand– Although we’ve got a nice saw, it usually is found on a folding table, this stand would make set-up so much easier. It even folds down to roll away.
Short Handled Paintbrush– This brush makes trimming and edging so much better. I’m not the best at cleaning out brushes, but thankfully it’s cheap. I’ve owned more than a dozen of these!
