We moved into our Retro Ranch Reno two months ago and we’ve been making serious progress. Soon I’ll be ready to start decorating! In our last house the boys’ room was one of my favorites and I’m anxious to make it feel like home for them.
“Vintage Modern” is my absolute favorite style, and I’ll be sticking to that. I don’t want it to feel super theme-y, but I also want it to be a place that they love. There isn’t much space at all, so whatever I do I want to make the most of the space under their beds and on their walls.
When we sold our Auction Adventure house we sold a lot of our furniture with it, so I get to shop for new beds for the boys! I have more dressers than we’ve ever needed so I’ll be using one of our existing dressers in their room. Just for fun I decided to create a mood board to show the direction I’m going with their room.
The room stemmed from me buying a few yards of buffalo check flannel at a junk show. Also being a Minnesotan I love Paul Bunyan. I’m calling it the “Vintage Mod Lumberjack Boys Room”. **This Post Contains Affiliate Links**
