Siesta Scripture Memory *Verse 8*

April 17, 2013 By BrightGreenDoor

Siesta Scripture Memory Bible Verse Colossians 3:12-14

Sometimes the boys drive me CRAZY. They argue over toys, spill their drinks, fight in the tub, ask questions relentlessly, get play-dough all over the floor, break things, play when they are supposed to be sleeping, and have a way of making me want to pull my hair out. Then I open my Bible and I am humbled. Did I clothe myself with compassion? Was I filled with gentleness and patience? Did I forgive as the Lord forgave me (even if it was the 4th spilled drink of the day)? Did I put on Love?
For the next two weeks this will be my mantra, and in that moment where I want to scream and pull my hair out I will try to remind myself of this passage:

Then I will remind myself that I DO Love them, more than anything in the world, and if the Lord could forgive my sins, then I should easily be able to forgive that spilled drink.
Put on Love.
