Thanks for stopping by to check out our Vintage Modern Christmas Porch Tour! Once I started going through all my pictures I realized I have SO many that I decided to break this into two posts! One for the porch, and one for the interior! So here it is: Our vintage modern Christmas porch tour! This year my mom brought me this gorgeous real garland and wreath for the front door from Costco.
It’s been so unusually warm here in North Dakota that my garland isn’t holding it’s color very well! I do love the way the green pops against our dark house.
Out front I just added spruce tips and cuttings to my tomato cages to make for faux “trees” in my big pots.
These chairs were actually a curbside find that my dad rescued with me! I just sprayed them white and recovered the cushions. I also added some cozy blankets and pillows to warm it up. I love how the red and white pop against the house!
I added a red shutter and lantern to bring some Christmas color to the porch. I just picked up the red lantern from Target, and the tin one is ikea. I grabbed a gold jar I had inside the house to add to the vignette.
I tied a thrifted pair of ice skates to my sled, with some pretty winter greens in them. Last year I had them hanging from my wreath, but every time the wind blew they banged against the front door! This year they are much better on the sled. I picked up this sled for just $15 from a friend’s antique store (Antique Charm). I think a kid must have painted the red designs on the sled and I think they’re just perfect.
I hope that our Christmas porch inspired you! Make sure you check back tomorrow for our Vintage Modern Christmas Home Tour Interior!
