The Kohler Brockway Sink Pros and Cons

April 23, 2020 By BrightGreenDoor

When we purchased this house we knew that we’d immediately need to gut BOTH of the bathrooms. Although this was a huge undertaking, it gave me the opportunity to design them both from scratch! One thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to install a Kohler Brockway Sink. Now that we’ve lived with it for two years I wanted to share the Kohler Brockway sink pros and cons. **This post contains affiliate links**

The Kohler Brockway Sink Pros and Cons

Pros:

-Timeless Beauty

-Easy to Clean (most days I just wipe it down with the hand towel before I swap out hand towels)

-Durable

-Compact and Keeps Floor Space Open

Cons:

-Lack of Faucet Options (As far as I know it’s only available in Nickel or Polished Chrome)

-Lack of Storage (In order to fix this we’ve added this small ledge above the sink and this storage tower next to the sink)

-Complicated Installation (I’ve installed many sinks, but I needed our plumber to do this one. He even said it was a little complicated.)

-Must use bar soap (As you can see we just balance a plastic soap dispenser on the bar soap stand, but it really looks best with bar soap.)

-Price (When you add up the cost of the sink and plumbing fixtures it’s a lot, although not any more expensive than most nice vanities.)

Where to Buy the Kohler Brockway Sink

I shopped HARD for deals when I purchased this sink, and I was sad to say that I barely could find any deals. I’ve seen the sink available on Amazon, Build.Com, and Wayfair. I’m including shopable images below for all of the pieces you need related to the sink.

Examples of the Kohler Brockway Sink in Bathrooms:

A Storied Style * Yellow Brick Home * Studio McGee *Remodelista *Nicole O’Dell

Modern Organic Interiors * Jean Stoffer Design * Apartment Therapy * Amy Storm and Co.  * Amy Storm and Co.

Kohler Brockway Farmhouse Sink in Bathroom

Despite the Kohler Brockway Sink Pros and Cons, I’d definitely purchase it again. I will admit, that it would be a terrible master bathroom sink, due to the dilemma of having nowhere to set things. As a hallway and kids bath though, it’s wonderful! It’s beauty, simplicity, and timelessness outweighs it’s issues. Thanks friend! It’s a perfect boy bathroom sink because they don’t have stuff to set down!
