Flannel Strip Baby Quilt
My good friend Rebekah is pregnant with boy #3, and when I asked her about her nursery colors she told me, “Turquoise, Baby Blue, and Avocado Green”. This meant when I saw this fabric I knew exactly what I was going to make his quilt out of. It is “Mischief” by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex. I also just realized the colors are strikingly similar to the blog design. I guess I just like the color combo! Today I want to share with you my DIY 3 Hour Flannel Strip Baby Quilt.

Baby Floyd will be arriving the beginning of March and even though I won’t be there right away to snuggle him up I’m happy to know that Rebekah will be able to snuggle him up in this blanket.

Is it ok that the strips look all puckered after I sew them together – because of that center stitch. It looks messy but will it all turn out good once it gets washed?

Yes mine usually pucker up a bit. It does look a bit messy until washed and dryed. I hope yours turned out great!
