Reading Nook with Built in DaybedYesterday I revealed the reading nook that I’ve been working on for the last six weeks as part of the One Room Challenge. Not only was I working on it, but so were 20 official participants and nearly 200 guest participants. Yesterday I spent the better part of the day sneaking ever second I could to check out all the rooms. If you head over to Calling it Home you can go through the entire Linky party and check out all of the rooms too. Today I’m going to share some of my favorite rooms from the challenge. ***PLEASE pin from original sources**

house-updatedHouse Updated– This master bedroom from Brit is basically my dream bedroom. The white walls and white floors with the black trim just speaks to me! I also love how she kept the accents simple with wood, black, brass, and greenery.

place-of-my-tastePlace of My Taste– This bathroom from Aniko is SO impressive. It actually has the identical footprint to the bathroom in our last house, but she did it SO much better. I LOVE the graphic tile, the wood tones, the round mirror. I also love that she solved the dark scone issue with recessed lights.

suburban-beesSuburban Bees– Tricia completed THREE room makeovers during this challenge! Her dining space is one of my favorites. I LOVE the way she used brass throughout her home. I’m also obsessed with her leather accent chairs in her dining room.

polished-habitatPolished Habitat– Melissa also blogs from home and created an office that would be a dream! Because the office is completely her own, she went with pale pinks and inspiring typography.

petite-modern-lifePetite Modern Life– Karisa re-did her builder grade bathroom on one serious budget. Her bathroom just goes to prove how far paint and creativity will go when redoing a space.

ciburbanityCiburbanity– Charlotte created an amazing she-shed for staging photo props, storing tools, and photography sessions. I love how she used mostly all white so that the art and textiles could really pop.

pmqfortwoPMQforTwo– Ariel isn’t afraid to use bold colors, and I’m in LOVE with the way she did it in this space. The built-ins. The mixing of plaids, the bold blue wall. It’s totally bold but I also totally love it.

brepurposedBrepurposed– Our mudroom is on my short list of spaces to finish, and Bre’s mudroom is so inspiring. Her wood art is so creative, and I love the way she used such a deep dark color.

vanessafrancisVanessaFrancis– This modern two tone kitchen by Vanessa is amazing. The white counters, the blue island with it’s clean modern lines, those black light fixtures.

wcollectiveinteriorsWCollectiveInteriors– I LOVE this shot. It’s gorgeous, cozy, comfortable, and looks like the perfect space for a family. I love that it’s not too “designed” to be comfortable, while still gorgeous.

biggerthanthethreeofusBigger  than the Three of Us– Ashley nailed it on her dining room makeover. I love the light fixture, the furniture, and the wallpaper has me aching to hang wallpaper somewhere in my house!

casa-watkinsCasa Watkins Living– Stephanie’s daughter’s room is just stunning. I’m loving those bold colors and the bold patterns. Again, it makes me want to hang wallpaper so badly! It also makes me excited to decorate our daughter’s room!

If you didn’t get enough great rooms in this post, head over to the link party at Calling it Home to see all of the reveals. There are SO many more amazing ones. I had a hard time picking my very favorites.signature

Thank you so much. It is so much fun being able to share all of the hard work with readers who enjoy seeing it! I’m already brainstorming which room I’ll do for the Spring challenge!
