Bright Green Door

Modern Master Bathroom Mood Board

May 20, 2016 By BrightGreenDoor

Last week I revealed my master bedroom reveal, what I didn’t reveal is the sad little master bathroom that is connected to it. Now that I love every inch of our bedroom, it makes our sad master bathroom just a little sadder. The biggest issue with this bathroom is that it’s already REALLY small, and then someone put a HUGE vanity in it.

It’s also got a very dated brown shower enclosure that am planning on painting with tub and tile paint!

My plan for bringing this bathroom in line with the rest of the house starts by replacing the vanity. I’ve really fallen in love with this W2 floating vanity from Wetstyle.W2 by Wetstyle Vanity

I love how it’s a totally modern design, but the oak fits really well with the oak throughout our house.Floating Oak Vanity

Other than replacing the vanity and painting the tub, the rest of this bathroom will come together in the details. I put this mood board together showing how I hope to bring it up to the same level as the adjoining bedroom!

Hopefully it won’t be long until the bathroom is looking as good as the bedroom!

You can find W2 products by locating a retailer here. You can also check out their great products on Twitter and Pinterest! This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of WETSTYLE. The opinions and text are all mine.

Personally, I think the brown shower is a neutral color and if you use tile paint, you will have to be really careful how you clean it and it will start to chip off with that sort of wear. I suppose you want to replace it eventually, but is it worth the trouble?

I am afraid that it might not hold up for the long haul, but if that happens we’ll probably just tear it out and replace it. I just feel like the brown darkens the bathroom too much. It’s worth a shot for the chance that it maybe successful!
