Last summer while garage saleing I found this beautiful Mid Century Credenza for only $5!!! The woman selling it told me she hated it because it was “so heavy”. What she didn’t realize is that heaviness came from solid wood construction. I guess if she wanted to “upgrade” to light new particle board furniture it was all the better for me!
Until we opened up the wall to the kitchen I had a different mid-century dresser I was using as an entertainment center.
Once I opened up the wall I needed to find a smaller entertainment center.
In order to make it work as an entertainment center, I had to take off the middle door. I did keep the door in case I can ever use the credenza with the doors again.
The grain on this wood is just gorgeous. I also LOVE the hardware. I only wish I had the original key to make the lock functional.
I also love how the wood tones look against our new laminate floors.
It also goes really well with those gorgeous industrial modern stools.
It even matches my bison tray that lives on the foot of the couch! I’m just smitten with it. Can you believe it was really only $5??!
