Hello There! Remember me? It’s ok if you don’t… I’m Jess. I used to blog about DIY, Design, and Life. Then we added a baby to our family. bought a resale store, and I stopped blogging. You can read about that here. Anyways, WAY back in 2021 I through a 60th Hawaiian Luau Birthday Party for my mother in law, and completely forgot to hit POST on the blog post! Here we are a year and a half later and I’m finally sharing it with you all!
I had a lot of fun shopping for decorations for the party. here are some of the items I used **post contains affiliate links**:
I also used her late husband’s Hawaiian Shirt collection to decorate. They loved traveling to Hawaii so this really was the perfect theme.
The food was delicious and super easy too! I made the following:
-Fried rice in pineapple bowls
-Hawaiian Pulled Pork
-Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies
-Billionaire Dip
-Spinach Dip
-Diane’s Famous Pineapple Upside Down Cake
For the Drinks we made Mai-Tai’s from a mix, and had Hawaiian Beers in Sand Pails.Â
I can’t believe this party was already a year and a half ago, but this is a timeless theme that was really easy to pull off! If you’re looking for a fun idea the Hawaiian Luau Birthday Party was a hit!
Love all the awesome photos & love your family. Happy Belated 60th Birthday Diane.
