DIY Chalkboard Pantry Door

Remember when I said the crockpot wouldn’t be the end of the chalkboard paint you’d be seeing?? That’s because I also painted our pantry pocket door and our coat closet door!

Here are a few of the bleak “before” shots… white walls, dirty trim, and honey colored door.

Now it’s the smallest completely finished space in our house. Possibly the only “completely finished space”. Hallways count right?  I’ve got my chalkboard door, my clothespin picture frame, my shutter coat rack, and much improved flooring. When you’re only working with 900 sq. feet you’ve got to make the most of every inch.

I’m loving having them as an easy place to write reminders and AWANA verses for the week!

I also love that there’s two, so while I’m making dinner I can send each boy to color on their own door which equals less fighting and one happy mama!
